Yvonne invited Sue and I to stay 2 nights at a unit on a hill that overlooks the long beach and is within walking distance of the surf club and great coffee shops. Yvonne was there to play golf, leaving us to sight see. On her one free day we lunched at the Buderim tavern and window shopped after seeing Yvonne's sister Jan's comfy home amongst beautiful trees. Jan stayed a night at the unit while we were there. We enjoyed the most delicious curry at the restaurant below the apartments.
Sue and I visited Tewantin and Noosa, perusing art and gift shops, also lovely parks either end of the main street where eateries abound.
Friend Christian Blank took Yvonne and I to fisherman's wharf for dinner after Sue left to visit relatives.
After collecting friend Graeme at Maroochydore and buying much needed walking shoes at the huge centre, we headed home, stopping at Gympie for the obligatory hamburger.
A memorable 3 days away, thanks to friend Yvonne for Super accommodation.
